For over two decades, these two independent artists have forged a strong bond through co-writing, mutual support, and live performances. Despite their geographical distance, they have consistently collaborated on songwriting and content creation.
Emerging from the shadows of the pandemic, MT805 was conceived during a time when Tara was residing in Berlin, Germany, while Matthew was in Vancouver, British Columbia. Their shared vision was to create uplifting dance music that would bring joy during a challenging period. Initially conceived as a side project, the MT805 catalog has expanded significantly, and the duo anticipates releasing an album in the spring of 2026 accompanied by a supporting tour.
